Our sweet Gracie turned 11 years old this past week. She is so wonderful, I am so blessed to have her in our family. She had a fun week of celebration! The day before her birthday, Grammy took her out to eat for Italian food- her favorite! She had a great time.
Since Ethan always picks his favorite restaurant for his birthday dinner, Gracie thought it would be fun to do the same. She picked Tepanyaki. It was really fun for the kids. They were mesmerized by the whole experience.
Gracie loved the food. Don't think Ethan and Elsa were as big of fans. Everyone except Elsa tried to catch the shrimp in our mouths. Elsa politely said, "No thank you." My friend Heather graciously offered to have Anna stay at their house and eat waffles instead.
The next day Gracie had a couple friend come over for a casual birthday party.
There are lots of candles to blow out.
Then Sunday we went to Michael and Ashli's house for a Birthday Party for Alyeska and Gracie. Alyeska turned 1 on the 18th and Gracie 11 on the 19th. It was so fun to see Alyeska stuff the birthday cake in her mouth.
Then on Monday, Gracie got the super duper exciting news that she got the part of
Mrs. Banks in North Point Elementary's production of Mary Poppins. Needless to say, we all have "Lets Go Fly a Kite" stuck in our heads still!
Congrats Gracie! I know you will be a fabulous Mrs. Banks!

She has always been a dream child. What a doll! You are so lucky to have her!
