This is the Place

All this snow has been making me think of all the fun things we did when the weather was nice. We went to the "Little Haunts" at This Is The Place. It was so much fun! We were able to go with Mormor and Pa before the left for Sweden.

The kids got bags and were able to "trick or treat" at the little doors. Some were cute little pioneers and others were a little scarier. They had fun but the little kids got a little nervous a couple of times.

We got to pan for gold. Luckily, we all found a piece, imagine that? Elsa was so cute! I can't get enough of that sweet girl.

They said we could turn it into the bank for a piece of candy or just keep the gold ourselves. All the kids choose to keep the gold. The sad part was about 5 minutes after we left, Elsa dropped hers in the weeds and we could not find it!

Anna's highlight of the day was the little petting zoo area. She thought all the goats were puppies. She kept saying "pup, pup, pup"! It was really cute. She has a real LOVE for animals. Poor girl, her parents won't buy her a pet of her own!

Thanks for taking us Mormor and Pa! We had such a fun day!
