One Crazy Week! (and its only Thursday)

We decided to go downtown to Temple Square to see the lights. We have not done this for years and it was beautiful.

 Everyone else in Utah decided to go see the lights too! It took us forever to find a parking spot and it there were thousands, probably hundreds of thousands of people at Temple Square. Honestly, it was crazy busy. We decided will will probably go again in about 4 years....

 I realized I need to read up about my camera, what setting do you put it on to take outside pictures in the dark? I am no good...

 Elsa was very vocal in the fact that she wanted to ride in the stroller (code for - she was whining so much we could not handle it anymore), so we busted Anna out.  Naively, we thought to would be easier to hold her than Elsa. Anna bucked around and Steve put her down to walk. Big mistake! She took off like lightning and we nearly lost her in the crowds of people!

 Steve, Gracie, and Elsa were really nice and let me take a nap on Sunday afternoon! They all made a cake for Family Home Evening. Gracie did the decorating herself, it was darling. Steve got tickets to the Jazz Game Monday night so we cancelled FHE and got a babysitter. We are bad parents.

The next day Steve and I both got the stomach flu with an hour of each other.

 We quickly realized that this does not work very well. We were praying for our responsible child to get home from school so she could take care of her sister. Here is Anna "working" from home with Steve trying to do the same. Ok, don't judge me.... I know she is still in her jammies and she needs a haircut!

Today we all felt well enough to attend Elsa's preschool Christmas Program. She did a great job!

Elsa and Noah after the program. They are so cute! Heather and I always say, if these two end up getting married they would have THE best wedding video. We have so many pictures of them together!

This evening we were able to attend Gracie's Christmas Dance Recital. She takes a Hip Hop class with a bunch of her friends. They all did a great job. It was so fun to see them all dance!
