I made my annual Spooky Cake the other night. It is a hit with the kids, if you want to try it - here is the recipe:
Make a cake according to the directions
Shape it into a Ghost (mine is kind of pathetic)
For the eyes - crack an egg in half and rinse it out
Add 1 sugar cube and 1/4 tsp lemon extract to each eye
Then, light the eyes and watch them glow!
We usually sing Halloween songs as we watch. This year we could not think of any, so Steve played thriller on his phone. Still fun!
